The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts centralized counselling for 15% All state Govt colleges All India Quota and All Deemed University 100% MBBS seats, including Management (includes Minority) and NRI categories, are filled through MCC online counselling based on NEET-UG rank.
Candidates from any state in India are eligible to participate, as there is no state domicile restriction for deemed universities. The counselling process includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college.
Fees for deemed universities are generally higher compared to government and private state quota seats. MCC ensures transparent, merit-based allotment through multiple counselling rounds including Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy round.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts Round 1 registration for Deemed University MBBS counselling through its official online portal. Eligible NEET-UG qualified candidates must first complete online registration visit through official site :
https://mcc.nic.in/ and click New Registration option, by entering personal details, NEET roll number, and academic information complete our registration on that.
After registration, candidates must pay the prescribed
Non Refundable Registration fee Rs. 5,000/- (for all candidates) and
Security Deposit Rs. 2,00,000/-
(Refundable based on counseling regulation) applicable for Deemed Universities.
Once payment is successful, they have to check seat matrix list, MCC will release the seat matrix of all colleges, based on that candidates can select the colleges and aware of if the college has increased or decreased the seat numbers compared with previous year.
Then applicants are advised to proceed choice filling and save the choices of colleges and seat type they have filled.
If any candidate looking for NRI seats in Deemed colleges but they not mentioned him/her as a NRI in NEET application should convert themselves from Indian to NRI on MCC counseling after that only they are consider as NRI and NRI options will be available on their choice filling.
When MCC official site release Notification about NRI conversion, candidates have to send their required NRI documents mentioned on that Notification through MCC official mail id that mentioned on MCC NRI conversion notification.
Then MCC will release NRI converted candidates list after checking the documents. If the candidate name is on that list they will be eligible for NRI seats, otherwise they can apply in upcoming rounds with rectified documents.
Candidates should wait till choice locking option is enabled. Only candidates who complete registration, fill choices, and lock within schedule are considered for Round 1 allotment.
MCC will release the Provisional Result. Candidates must report discrepancies via email to
mccresultquery@gmail.com within the given time. This result is indicative and cannot be claimed.
After this MCC will release the Final Allotment List.
1. No Allotment: Candidate should wait for further rounds or leave counselling without losing security amount.
2. Seat Allotted: Candidate must download allotment letter and report to college with original documents and complete admission with required fee within schedule.
3. Want Upgradation: Candidate can join allotted college and also opt for upgradation in next rounds by informing the college.
4. Not Willing to Join: Candidate can leave the seat without any action. This will not affect further rounds or security deposit.
