Telangana NEET 2026: Documents, Fee & Admission Rules

What documents are required to be uploaded in the online application?
NEET Rank Card, SSC Marks Memo, Intermediate Marks Memo, Study Certificates from 9th to Intermediate, Transfer Certificate, Caste Certificate, Minority Certificate, EWS Certificate, Parental Income Certificate, NCC Certificate, CAP Certificate, PMC Certificate, Anglo Indian Certificate, Candidate Residence Certificate, Aadhar Card, Singapore Quota Eligibility Certificate.
What is the declaration that I must agree to while submitting the application?
You declare that all information provided is true. If any information is found false, your admission will be cancelled automatically and criminal action may be initiated. You will pay fees as applicable.
What devices should I use to fill the application?
Use desktop computers or laptops only. Do not use mobiles, tabs, or iPads.

What happens if I enter false information?
False information can lead to criminal action.
What is the registration and processing fee for OC & BC candidates?
Rs. 4,000/- plus bank transaction charges.
What is the registration and processing fee for SC/ST candidates?
Rs. 3,200/- plus bank transaction charges.
Will the registration and processing fee be refunded?
No. The fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date.
How is the merit list determined?
By NEET-UG 2026 rank as per eligibility criteria, regulations, guidelines, and reservation policies. Candidates must secure minimum percentile: 50th for General, 40th for SC/ST/BC, 45th for PwD (General).
What happens if I do not upload mandatory certificates or my photo/signature?
Your application will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for merit position.

Will verification of uploaded certificates be done multiple times?
No. Verification is done only once for web-based counseling, regardless of the number of counseling phases.
Do I need to exercise web options separately for MBBS and BDS?
Yes. Candidates have to exercise web options separately for MBBS course and BDS course.
How should I exercise web options?
Very carefully in order of your preference for colleges. Take a printout of the exercised web options for reference.
Who has the final decision in selection and admission matters?
The Admission Committee. Its decision is final and binding on candidates and cannot be questioned after admissions are closed.
What is the University fee to be paid after allotment?
Rs. 12,000/- to be paid through payment gateway to obtain the allotment letter.
What documents must I submit at the time of joining the allotted college?
Printout of filled online application form, allotment order, original certificates, and one set of self-attested copies to the Principal.
What undertaking is required at admission?
An affidavit on Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp paper by parent and candidate stating that all certificates are genuine and they are responsible for consequences if found false.
What happens if I do not report to the allotted college within the specified time?
The admission will be automatically cancelled.
What is the discontinuation fee if I leave the course after the free exit cutoff date?
Rs. 20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Lakhs only) as bond amount.

What happens if I am absent continuously for 91 days or more during the course?
You must seek permission for re-admission. If Vice Chancellor is satisfied, leave may be granted. If absent continuously for more than 2 years, admission is forfeited and studentship cancelled.
What is the maximum period allowed to complete the course?
You must pass the final examination within double the duration of the study period, or within the maximum period permitted by NMC from time to time.
Can the Principal cancel my admission?
Yes, if you furnished incorrect particulars or false information. You will be given two weeks to submit a written explanation and a personal hearing. Appeal lies to the Registrar of KNRUHS.
Can the University cancel my admission without notice?
Yes, if certificates produced are found to be fake, false, or forged.
What is the discipline expected from students?
Strict discipline. No strikes, no criticizing Institute/University policies in print or electronic media. Grievances must be submitted to Dean/Principal through proper channel. Violation may lead to cancellation of admission.
Is ragging prohibited?
Yes. Ragging is prohibited under Telangana Act No.26 of 1997. It may lead to serious consequences including cancellation of seat and punishments as per law.
What is the duration of the course counted from?
From the date of commencement of the course as per NMC/DCI schedule. It is uniform for all candidates irrespective of individual admission dates.
What certificate is required for claiming fee exemption?
Latest Income certificate of the parent issued by MRO/Tahsildar.
What certificate is required for claiming EWS reservation?
EWS Certificate valid for 2026-27 issued by Competent Authority (Tahsildar) of Telangana.
What certificate is required for NCC grace marks?
NCC Certificates obtained before the qualifying examination.
What certificate is required for CAP, PMC, or Anglo Indian reservation?
Required certificate in support of the claim from the competent authority.

What study certificates are required for local candidate status?
Study Certificates from 9th class to Intermediate. If not studied in any educational institution, residence certificate for 4 years immediately preceding the qualifying examination.
What is the sample undertaking that parent and candidate must sign?
An undertaking declaring all certificates are genuine, admission may be cancelled if found fake, abiding by University rules, and not entering legal litigation if seat is cancelled for these reasons. Includes signature of parent, candidate, and Aadhar number.
What is the anti-ragging provision?
Ragging is prohibited under Telangana Act No.26 of 1997 dated 21-8-1997.
