2. Counselling Procedure

Registration:

  • Visit www.jkbopee.gov.in and click “Click to Apply” under “NEET-UG.”
  • Read the instructions and schedule carefully.
  • Fill out the form, upload required documents, and submit.
  • Verify your details and activate your account via email.
  • Remember your username (NEET roll no.) and password for future logins.

Preference Filling:

  • Wait for the announcement on preference filling mode (online or physical).
  • If online: Log in, select preferred courses/colleges, and confirm choices.
  • If physical: Stay updated on dates and submission process.
  • Prioritize government colleges first, but the final choice is yours.


3. Counselling Registration

Jammu Kashmir NEET 2024 Counselling Registartion Process

Visit the BOPEE Website:

  • Go to www.jkbopee.gov.in.
  • Click on “Click to Apply” under the “Online Applications” section and select “NEET–UG.”

Review Information:

  • Check application period, registration schedule, instructions, and document guidelines.

Prepare Documents:

  • Scan and save the following documents in PDF format (100-200 KB each):
    • Domicile Certificate
    • Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Certificate/Marks Card)
    • 10+2 Marks Card
    • Category Certificate (if applicable)
    • NEET Score Card

Fill Application Form:

  • Click “Click here to apply.”
  • Read the instructions, tick the acknowledgment box, and fill in registration details.
  • Enter the verification code and submit the form.
  • Review and correct details if needed.

Activate Account:

  • Check your email for an activation link.
  • Click the link, enter the OTP, and set a new password.

Login to Account:

  • Use your NEET Roll Number as the username and your new password to log in.
  • Access options like uploading documents and editing your application.

Upload Documents:

  • Click “Upload Document” to upload the required PDFs.
  • Verify the uploaded documents.

Print Registration Form:

  • After uploading documents, click the link to print the registration form for your records.

Logout:

  • Log out or close the browser once all steps are complete.

For Already Registered Candidates:

  • Click “Click here to log in if already registered.”
  • After login, you can edit details, view uploaded documents, or change your password.


4. Allotment Process

1.Registration :

  • Visit www.jkbopee.gov.in and click “Click to Apply” under “Online Applications” and “NEET–UG.”
  • Read the instructions and registration schedule carefully.
  • Fill out the online application form with accurate details and upload required scanned documents within size limits.
  • Submit the application and verify your details.
  • Activate your account via the email link sent by JKBOPEE.
  • Remember your username (NEET Roll No.) and password for future logins.

2. Preference Filling:

  • Wait for the announcement of the preference filling mode (online or physical).
  • If online:
    • Log in to your account, select preferred courses/colleges, and prioritize government colleges first (optional).
    • Submit and confirm your final preferences within the specified timeframe.
  • If physical:
    • Stay updated on the process and dates for in-person submission of preferences.

3. Counseling Rounds:

First Round:

  • Seats are allotted based on merit and preferences.
  • Join the allotted college within the given time to confirm your seat.
  • Surrender your seat if you wish to participate in further rounds.

Upgradation Rounds (optional):

  • Conducted if seats remain vacant.
  • Eligible candidates can participate to upgrade their seats based on merit and new preferences.
  • Stay updated as seats are filled on a day-to-day basis.

Physical Round (optional):

  • Attend the physical round if scheduled.
  • Follow the allotted time slot, submit required documents, and adhere to the committee’s instructions.
  • Accept your seat during this round.

5. Eligibility

Nationality: Open to Indian Citizens, NRIs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals (PIOs are now included under OCI).
Education: Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as main subjects.
Minimum Marks: General category requires 50% in PCB; SC/ST/OBC requires 40%.
NEET Qualification: Must qualify NEET UG with the required percentile.
Age: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024. No upper age limit for NEET UG.

6. Nativity & Domicile Rules

  • Candidates must be domicile of UT of Jammu & Kashmir / Ladakh.
  • Passed 12th exam from JKBOSE or CBSE affiliated scholls located in Union Territories of J&K / Ladakh.
