What happens if I join a seat in Round 3 of AIQ/Deemed/Central/AIIMS/JIPMER/Nursing? Can I later resign?
Once you join the third round seat, you will not be allowed to vacate it. If you do not join, you can exit with forfeiture of security amount and elimination from further rounds.

Enter the information filled at registration, then the security question and answer. If matched, you can enter a new password.
What should I do if I face difficulty logging in?
Use correct spelling, same date format as NTA form, uninterrupted internet. If session expires, try another computer with stable connection.
How should I create a password?
Follow the password policy. Use suggested browser. Avoid Caps Lock key; use Shift key instead.
Why does it say “wrong roll number/password” during login?
Roll number or password may be incorrect. Password is case sensitive. If forgotten, retrieve using security Q&A.
Can I modify my choices during the choice filling period?
Yes, you can modify, add, or delete before locking. Once locked, you cannot modify.

How can I get a printout of locked choices?
After system locks choices as per schedule, you can take a printout during first, second, and third rounds. You can also see locked choices at allotted college on request.
If I participate in second/third round but am not allotted, do I lose my previous round seat?
No, you retain the earlier seat. Only if you are upgraded, the earlier seat is automatically cancelled.
If I get upgraded in a subsequent round, can I join the new college directly?
No. You must get an online generated relieving letter from the earlier institute before joining the new college.
If I get upgraded in the same college due to category change (e.g., SC to UR), do I need to take fresh admission?
Yes. Get relieving letter for earlier seat and fresh admission letter for upgraded category seat.
What is the procedure for Round 3 counselling?
Net vacant seats from non‑joining/non‑reporting of Round 2 are published. Eligible candidates submit fresh choices; result processed by Choice & Merit.
If I mistakenly opted for Deemed Universities but want only AIQ, how do I correct it?
Use the reset initialization option on registration page (provided only once). Then make new registration with full payment after using RESET.
Is upgradation allowed from Round 2 to Round 3 of AIQ/Deemed/Central/AIIMS/JIPMER/Nursing?
Yes, if you join Round 2 seat and give willingness to upgrade at time of reporting. After Round 3, you are not eligible for Stray Vacancy Round.
Who is NOT eligible for Stray Vacancy Round?
(a) Those who did not register for Stray Round, (b) candidates holding any seat at the time of Stary Round, (c) candidates allotted in Round 3 but NOT REPORTED.
Will there be fresh registration/choice filling for Stray Vacancy Round?
Yes.
How much time will I have to join the allotted college?
As per counselling schedule. Contact college immediately after result. Under no circumstances can MCC extend the joining date.
What original documents are required at the time of joining?
Allotment letter from MCC, NTA admit card & rank letter, DOB certificate (if not on Class 10), Class 10 & 12 certificates & marks sheet, 8 passport size photos, ID proof, OCI/PIO certificate (if applicable), plus caste/OBC‑NCL/EWS certificates if applicable.
Will certificates in regional language be accepted at reporting?
They should be in English or Hindi. Some states insist on English only. Carry an attested English/Hindi translated copy along with original.
What if there is a spelling discrepancy between documents and application form?
Carry an affidavit as proof that the documents belong to the same person.
What if I do not have my original documents at the time of joining?
Admission is provisional subject to physical verification. Candidates without original certificates will not be allowed admission. Depositing originals elsewhere with a certificate will also not be accepted.
Will NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National candidates be shown seats reserved for other categories?
No. They will not be shown seats reserved for other categories. One candidate can opt for only one type of reservation.
Where can I find information on stipend, fee structure, bond, rural service, NRI fees, etc.?
On MCC website under “College Information”. MCC is not responsible for any errors. Verify with college website directly.
What are the registration fees for Deemed Universities?
Non‑refundable registration fee: Rs. 5,000 (same for all). Refundable security deposit: Rs. 2,00,000.
What are the registration fees for 15% AIQ/Central Universities/AFMC/ESI/AIIMS/JIPMER/B.Sc. Nursing?
Non‑refundable: Rs. 1,000 for UR/EWS; Rs. 500 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD. Refundable security: Rs. 10,000 for UR/EWS; Rs. 5,000 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
If a candidate applies for both Government (AIQ/Central) and Deemed University, which fee must be paid?
Only the higher fee: Deemed University fees (Rs. 5,000 registration + Rs. 2,00,000 security). Not both.
What does “exit with forfeiture” mean?
If allotted in 2nd or subsequent round and you do not want to join, you can exit but lose the security deposit. After joining Round 3, resigning is not allowed.
To which account will the security deposit be refunded?
To the same account/card from which it was initially deposited. Keep that account active.
What if the security deposit was paid from an unrelated card/account? Can I request refund to a different account?
No. MCC will not entertain such requests. Refund only to the original source.
What if I make more than one payment for the same Roll Number by mistake?
Approach Financial Custodian after 10 days of closing Registration Window. Excess payment will be refunded within 30 days, deducting 50% of registration fee (or Rs. 500 whichever is less) per excess receipt.
Do I need to request refund of security amount?
No. MCC publishes eligible list, Financial Custodian initiates refund within 15 working days and completes within 30 days of publishing list.
Can I initiate a chargeback claim through my card issuing bank?
No. If you do, MCC/Financial Custodian cannot initiate direct refund. You must withdraw chargeback and get NOC from bank, causing long delays.

Will MCC bear bank charges incurred by candidates?
No. Candidates bear their own bank charges. Net banking charges are generally lower than card payments.
Can I remit Registration Fee and Security Deposit from an NRI Account?
No. MCC cannot refund to NRI Account per RBI rules. Transfer funds from NRI to NRO Account first, then pay. Refund will go to NRO Account only.
Will MCC pay interest on the refundable security deposit?
No. Once registered, it is treated as “service rendered”.
