NRI Category Admission Preference in Haryana

The preference for admission under NRI category in Haryana state shall be considered as follows:

Priority – I: NRI/OCI/PIO candidates who originally belong to Haryana State.
Priority – II: Candidates who are children of NRI/OCI/PIO belonging to Haryana State.
Priority – III: NRI/OCI/PIO candidates who originally belong to any Indian State/Union Territory other than Haryana.
Priority – IV: Candidates who are children of NRI/OCI/PIO from other Indian States/Union Territories (excluding Haryana).
Priority – V: Candidates having NRI sponsorship from real brother or sister.
Priority – VI: Candidates sponsored by a first-degree NRI relative residing abroad, subject to conditions:

Conditions for Priority VI:

The sponsor must be the nearest blood relative of the candidate.
Eligible relations include:

Real brother/sister of father (paternal uncle/aunt)
Real brother/sister of mother (maternal uncle/aunt)
Father and mother of father (grandparents)
Father and mother of mother (maternal grandparents)
First-degree paternal and maternal cousins

The sponsor must be an NRI and ordinarily residing abroad.
The sponsor must have acted as a guardian, with valid proof.

Priority – VII: Foreign Nationals will be considered only after exhausting all NRI/PIO/OCI categories.
