2. Counselling Procedure

Register on the CGDME website (http://cgdme.admissions.nic.in)  complete the application with fees and required documents, ensuring all certificates are dated before the scrutiny deadline, and submit PwD documents issued only by the State Medical Board.

Step 1: Registration and Document Submission

  • Register at www.cgdme.admissions.nic.in.
  • Submit the form, pay the fee, and upload documents (e.g., category, EWS/PwD certificate, domicile, Class 10+2 marksheet).
  • PwD certificates must be issued by the State Medical Board.

Step 2: Round 1 Counseling

  • Pay the application fee and refundable security deposit.
  • Select and lock preferred colleges/courses.
  • Check seat allotment results on the website.

Step 3: Reporting (Round 1)

  • Upgrade Option: Report for document verification if upgrading to Round 2.
  • Government Colleges: Mandatory admission after verification.
  • Private/Dental Colleges: Wait for an upgrade or take admission.

Step 4: Round 2 Counseling

  • Submit fresh choices if dissatisfied with Round 1 or unallotted.
  • Check allotment results online.

Step 5: Reporting (Round 2)

  • Take admission and pay fees if allotted.
  • Failure to report leads to loss of the security deposit.

Step 6: Mop-Up Round

  • Open for unallotted or upgrading candidates.
  • Fill fresh choices and check results online.

Step 7: Reporting (Mop-Up Round)

  • Report to the allotted college and complete admission.

3.Counselling Registration

  • Visit the Website: Go to www.cgdme.admissions.nic.in.
  • New User Registration: Click on “New User Registration” and provide the required details to create a username and password.
  • Login and Fill Form: Log in with your credentials, complete the application form, and upload scanned documents.
  • Pay Registration Fee: Pay the fee online as instructed.
  • Submit and Save: Review your application, submit it, and download the confirmation page for future use.

4. Allotment Processs :

Steps: Registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted institute.
Rounds: Four rounds of counselling. Admission is based on NEET UG 2024 rank, reservation, seat matrix, and preferences. Selected candidates must report to the institute.

Step 1: Registration

  • Register online at cgdme.admissions.nic.in.
  • Provide personal and NEET UG 2024 details.
  • Set a password, choose a security question, and pay the fee.
  • Receive a login ID and password after registration.

    Step 2: Choice Filling
  • Log in using the ID and password.
  • Provide details and select preferred courses/colleges.
  • Fill choices carefully (order of preference matters).

    Step 3: Seat Allotment
  • Allotment is based on choices, NEET UG 2024 rank, and seat availability.
  • The allotment list will be published online with details like candidate info, roll number, and allotted institute.

5. Eligibility Criteria :

Nationality: Open to Indian Citizens, NRIs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals (PIOs are now included under OCI).
Education: Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as main subjects.
Minimum Marks: General category requires 50% in PCB; SC/ST/OBC requires 40%.
NEET Qualification: Must qualify NEET UG with the required percentile.
Age: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024. No upper age limit for NEET UG.



6. Nativity & Domicile Rules :

For MBBS admission in Chhattisgarh under NEET 2024 (85% state quota):

  1. Candidates must be born in Chhattisgarh.
  2. Candidates must hold domicile status in Chhattisgarh.
  3. Candidates must have completed Class 12 from an institution affiliated with the Chhattisgarh Board or any other board recognized by the state administration.
  4. The candidate’s parent(s) must be employees of the Central Government or the Government of Chhattisgarh and must reside in the state.

7. Seat Reservations

Category with Percentage reservation :

Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 32%
Female* – 30%
Other Backward Classes (OBC) – 14%
Scheduled Caste (SC) – 12%
A person with Disability (PwD), Armed Forces and Freedom Fighters (FF) – 3% Each

8. Seat Matrix
