Introduction
In 1906, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University was established and is one of the oldest medical higher school in Russia and well known university throughout the world. This is first Medical university establish a Faculty of Pediatrics that served as a model for creating such departments for other universities in the world. Infrastructure
The first lecture was convened on September 26, 1906, the first graduation was in spring 1912. The course was incredibly popular. Thus, in 1906 medical faculty audience numbered to 206 people, in 1907–1908 years this number enlarged to 285 people. The entrance competition equalled 8.5 people per position. At the beginning of 1917, the medical faculty of the Courses studied around 1060 students.
During its survival, the University has equipped more than 70,000 doctors who satisfied and continue to complete their professional duty in all parts of Russia and abroad. The achievements of the RSMU are involvement of several generations of professors, lecturers, researchers, students, administrative and management personnel. The Plan of the University now and in future is to be a worthy successor of the honour and glory of the previous generations and to continue and strengthen the University’s good traditions.

Pirogov National Medical University provides library facility to the students. The library was established in the year 1906, it is located on the college campus. It consists of 7,50,000 volume of books. Also, the library is connected with internet facility for the benefit of the students. Also, it provides e-journal & e-book access to the students. This library consists of 12,15,000 numbers of scientific literature and 1,71,000 numbers of the textbooks with 6,48,000 thousand of fictional books.

Hostel
The Pirogov National Medical University offers an accommodation facility for the benefit of the students. The hostel rooms are available on the basis of sharing, 2 or 3 persons can share a room. The hostel has a common kitchen facility, in here students can prepare their own food. The dormitories are secured on 24×7 with highly monitored CCTV facility. If the students need accommodation facility they have to pay per month 1638 (Rubles). The hostel rooms are available only on the basis of a Lease with an agreement.
