We are BC with community card for parent and student from TN. Student studied 6th to 12th in TN and has a bona-fide certificate from the school. Do we need to submit nativity certificate for Govt quota in TN. Please clarify as there is a confused wording in prospectus. Is submission of parents documents like parents 10th certificate etc enough in our case.

For this year 2020, Nativity certificate is mandatory for students who studied 6th standard to 12th standard in Tamilnadu schools. So in effect, every candidate who applies for govt quota counselling and minority quota in management quota counselling need to produce the nativity certificate.
This process takes time as it needs signature from VAO, Revenue officer and then by Tahshildar. so you need to start this process immediately.
