Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Private College and Private University fees?
In Karnataka, most Private Medical Colleges charge around ₹12.8L per year for GMP/Open seats.
However, Private Universities (like MS Ramaiah, SDM, or PES) have their own fee structures, which can range from ₹18L to ₹25L+ per year.
Is offline document verification mandatory at KEA?
Yes. Even if you registered online, you must visit a KEA center in person with your original documents and study certificates signed by the BEO.
But, if you have verified your documents during CET time, need not appear for verfication again.
However, specical reservations claims such as Sports, NCC etc along with St Johns Claims, NRI, Linguistic and Religious minority seats candidates are asked to come once NEET results are out.
What is the difference between Choice 2 and Choice 3 after Round 1?
Choice 2 means you are satisfied with the seat but want to try for a better college in Round 2 (Holding the seat).
Choice 3 means you reject the current seat and want to try for other colleges in Round 2 (Losing the seat).
Who is eligible for Rural or Kannada Medium reservation?
You are eligible for Rural reservation if you studied from 1st to 10th standard in a rural area. For Kannada Medium, you must have studied in a Kannada medium school from 1st to 10th standard. Both require specific certificates signed by the BEO.
Do you help with All India Quota (AIQ) counseling?
Yes. We manage both KEA (State) and MCC (All India) counseling for you. This ensures you have a backup plan in Deemed Universities or Government colleges across India if the Karnataka state cut-offs go too high.
