Documents needed for NRI Quota

For admission under the NRI quota in medical counselling in India, candidates must submit a comprehensive set of documents for verification. Candidates applying for MBBS or MD/MS must qualify NEET-UG or NEET-PG.

1.General Documents:

NRI Candidates must hold the documents apart from NRI documents like all General candidates such as:
• The NEET admit card is a compulsory document.
• The NEET scorecard must be produced during counselling.
• Class 10 mark sheet is required as proof of date of birth.
• Class 10 passing certificate must be submitted.
• Class 12 mark sheet is mandatory.
• Class 12 passing certificate must be provided(Subjects in 12th must include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.)
• If any candidate who has studied above subjects separately should have submit those documents.
• Gap certificate is needed if there is study gap.
• If anyone studied foreign board school should have to get document of AIU (Association of Indian Universities)Equivalency Certificate.
• A birth certificate may be required for verification.
• Anyof the identity document required for verification like voter ID, Driving liceince or any government-issued ID.
• If candidate have appiled for other State counseling should have to submit Eligibility certificate from that particular state university.
• Nativity certificate we have to submit for state counseling.
• Documents may get varied statewise different so make sure state counseling documents rules and regulation.
• Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate from the last institution is needed.
• Documents must be translated into English if in another language.
• Provisional allotment letter must be downloaded after seat allotment declared from particular counseling sites.

2.NRI Documents:

• A valid passport of the candidate or their parent or their Sponsors with valid visa.
• Candidate or Sponsors should get NRI status certificate or NRI certificate or Embassy certificate from Indian Embassy of the country they residing.
• OCI card/Green card/resident card copy is required if applicable under Overseas Citizen of India provisions.
• Sponsorship affidavit must be notarized, this affidavit format will be varied from state wise and must confirm financial responsibility of candidate, so make sure about the format and details in the affidavit.
• Relationship certificate between candidate and sponsor is mandatory, must be issued by competent authority.
• Family tree certificate may be required with prescribed format of requested state counseling.
• Overseas Employment Certificate which is mention Income proof of sponsor may be requested.
• Bank statement of NRE account details and NRE account passbook copy can be asked (State wise it will differ).
• Embassy attestation may be required in some cases so confirm the NRI documents requirement state wise
