- AMC Medical College was established in 2009 with an annual intake of 150 students.
- After Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation established its own Smt NHL Municipal Medical College in 1963.
- From this simple beginning, it has now grown into another medical college in the LG Hospital campus and has grown into a more advanced and Prestigious medical college of the country.
