  • Chengalpattu Medical College A years ago, in 1965, it was the District Headquarters Hospital, which was situated in the town.
  • Later, the Tamil Nadu government upgraded the district headquarters hospital as a 250-bed teaching institute for clinical training and has now become a Government Medical College with an annual enrollment of 100 students.
