Online Registration

  • Register by entering basic details such as name, date of birth, and mobile number.

Choice Filling

  • Select your preferred colleges and courses.

Seat Allotment Result

  • Check the seat allotment result on the official website.

Reporting

  • Report to the assigned college for document verification and admission.

3. Counselling Procedure:

Round 1 Counseling

  • Pay the application fee and refundable security deposit.
  • Select and lock preferred colleges/courses.
  • Check seat allotment results on the website.

Reporting (Round 1)

  • Upgrade Option: Report for document verification if upgrading to Round 2.
  • Government Colleges: Mandatory admission after verification.
  • Private/Dental Colleges: Wait for an upgrade or take admission.

Round 2 Counseling

  • Submit fresh choices if dissatisfied with Round 1 or unallotted.
  • Check allotment results online.

Reporting (Round 2)

  • Take admission and pay fees if allotted.
  • Failure to report leads to loss of the security deposit.

Mop-Up Round

  • Open for unallotted or upgrading candidates.
  • Fill fresh choices and check results online.

Reporting (Mop-Up Round)

  • Report to the allotted college and complete admission.

Registration

  • Register using your mobile number and email ID.
  • Enter personal and academic details.
  • Pay the application fee.

Choice Filling

  • Choose your preferred colleges and courses.
  • Lock your choices.

Merit List

  • BFUHS will release the state merit list on their website.
  • The list includes your state and category ranks.

Seat Allotment

  • The seat allotment list will be based on your preferences, state merit, and other factors.
  • Check the list on the official website.

Reporting

  • Report to the assigned college for document verification.
  • Pay the tuition fee.



5. Eligibility :

Punjab NEET 2024 Counselling Eligibility

  • Candidates must have qualified NEET.
  • Registration for Punjab seat allotment is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be domiciles of Punjab.
  • Minimum age: 17 years (as per the official brochure).
  • Ineligible candidates will lose their counselling fee and will not be considered for seat allotment.


6. Nativity & Domicile Rules :

To be eligible for Punjab state medical counseling:

  1. You must be a resident of Punjab with a valid domicile certificate.
  2. You must pass the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET).

Domicile Certificate Eligibility:

  • Your parents must be permanent residents of Punjab, or
  • You must have lived in Punjab for at least three years, or
  • You must own property in Punjab.
  • Candidates studied for a period of 5 years in punjab (or) Candidates studied 11th and 12th from punjab.

7. Seat Reservations

  • Schedule Caste – 25%
  • Backward Classes – 10%
  • Backward Area/Border Area (1% each) – 2%
  • Physically handicapped/Orthopedically handicapped only – 3%
  • Sports Person – 1%
  • Children and Grandchildren of Terrorist Affected Persons – 1%
  • Children and Grandchildren of Sikh riot Affected Persons – 1%
  • Wards of Defence Personnel – 1%
  • Wards of Punjab Police – 1%
  • Children and Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters of Punjab – 1%

9. Required Documents

The candidate should produce Original Documents for verification and attach the self-attested photocopies of the following documents with the application form.

  • 10th Class Certificate
  • 12th Class Certificate (must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English)
  • NEET Admit Card
  • NEET Score Card
  • Punjab Resident Certificate
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Challan Receipt
  • EWS Certificate (if applicable)
  • Certificate from the Head of the Institution (confirming completion of Class 10 and 12 at their institute)
