Vinnitsa National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya, Ukraine was founded in 1921. The educational institution was named after M.I.Pirogov In 1960, and in 1984 this was awarded an Order of Honor. Since 1994, Vinnytsia Medical Institute has been certified and accredited at level IV and has obtained University status. The national status of the university was obtained in 2002. Specialist training is carried out in 53 chairs, where the competent teaching-pedagogical body operates. They include academics from the National Academy of Medical Sciences, 5 academics and 5 corresponding members of the Academy of Sciences, 120 doctors in science, professors, 554 candidates in science, associate professors. Vinnitsa National Medical University has 3 educational buildings, modern equipment, a research center, and a center for new information technologies, more than 780 modern computers, which are connected to the Internet. Total university building area of 80,896 sqm, of which 41,426 sqm, is used for learning purposes, consists of complete multimedia systems equipped with 4,944.9 sqm classrooms available. and a capacity of 3,327. Classrooms with 3,193 sqm of laboratory space, teaching facilities, laboratory and diagnosis for medical institutions with clinical departments 14,701 sqm, scientific research center 1,400 sqm and test clinic, vivarium have 993 sqm, periodicals, Pentium has 780 pcs, 680 for University IT park, 680 for scientific processing and specialist training and 100 for use by university personnel.
There are 32 classes of computers, 142 computers, all connected to the Internet, the number of multimedia projectors is 80. The new computer center consists of computer classrooms, a TV studio, a modern print shop, a print shop, and an Internet unit. The available rooms in the inn have basic furniture that is essential for the student. These dormitories of the University with a design capacity of 3161 bed- places and one hostel for faculty of postgraduate education and Rooms with central heating, kitchen, and corridors. Rooms are available on a shared basis of 2 students, 3 students, and 4 students. Beds, mattresses, pillows, sheets, blankets, tables, chairs, central heating. There are 5 buffets, student cafes, 4 canteens, which provide the standards necessary for public catering services. VNPMU hostels offer 24-hour access to security and emergency services, making it easy to get help when you need it. VNPMU has two health and sports complexes for 200 people, the total area of their premises 1172 sq.m, sanatorium for 50 persons, medical unit, gym, stadium and sports areas, and other sports complex built with an area of 2,225 Sqm. Physical training is included in all college curricula. In addition, students attend various sports sections; playing football, basketball, and volleyball as members of the united university team in the Ukrainian championship among medical universities.
