Overview of All India Quota (AIQ) 2026
Students who have qualified in the NEET UG 2026 examination are eligible to apply for seats under the following categories through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC):

15% All India Quota: Available in all Government Medical Colleges across India.

100% Deemed Universities: Management and NRI quota seats in private medical colleges.

Central Pools: 100% seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, and AMU.
Official Counselling Website & Seats
The official portal for national counselling is mcc.nic.in. For 2026, the estimated seat matrix includes:
- Govt College AIQ Seats: Approximately 9,000+ seats (15% of ~60,000+ total govt seats).
- Deemed University Seats: 11,450+ seats across 57+ institutions.
- Special Quotas: ESI Quota and Delhi Central University Quotas (MAMC, LHMC, UCMS, VMMC).

The Online Process
Counselling is conducted in four main rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy. It is a strictly merit-based, transparent electronic system:
- Register and pay fees (Registration + Security Deposit).
- Fill and Lock your college choices.
- Download the allotment letter if a seat is assigned.
- Report to the college for document verification.
