- The Medical College Hospital is moved to DME side and Christened and is covered by 35.44 acres.
- Tiruvannamalai medical college appeared from the 1 April 2012 convey of the 440 bedded Tiruvannamalai Government District Headquarters Hospital and which had started as a government Taluk hospital since 1950 to the Department of Medical Education who then relaunched it as a teaching hospital contribution nearly 100 undergraduate places, the first of whom commenced studies in the year 2013-2014.
