• Dr P Siddhartha Institute Of Medical Sciences & Research Foundation was established in 2002 to extend healthcare facilities to rural poor under PURA (Providing Urban Facilities in Rural Areas) and Medical / Dental Education in Andhra Pradesh under the sponsorship of the Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education, Vijayawada which runs 18 educational institutions has started the Siddhartha Foundation to serve as its philanthropic wing.
• Established in 1997.
• The institution has been named “Dr.Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Science and Research Institution” out of gratitude to the honorable wife of the late Dr.Pinnamaneni Venkateswara Rao, a Surgical Assistant and President of the Siddhartha Academy.
