Infrastructure
- The campus is spread over 28 acres of lush green space and includes the main Medical College building, Teaching hospital, Resident physician, Doctors staff quarters, Men’s and Women’s hostel, Playground and Support facilities.
- The Central Library is located on the second floor of the new college building with an area of 2400 square meters with all the necessary materials.
- There are 4010 books, and magazines including Indian and foreign journals are also available in the library.
- There are 2 Student reading rooms and 1 staff room and available inside the room with a capacity of 75 students and an indoor room with a capacity of 75 students.
- The library is open all weekdays from 9 am to 5.00 pm.
- The e-library has 40 computers with an internet (broadband) facility.
- The first floor has additional reading rooms for boys and girls, which are open from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m.
- The Medical College has six lecture halls that are well-equipped with air-conditioned gallery type, advanced audio-visual equipment, and teaching purposes.
- Of these, four halls provide the capacity of 180 students each, and the other lecture hall provides the capacity of 360 students, followed by a 200-seat lecture hall at the hospital.
- All these 6 halls are used by medical colleges and hospitals.

- The Medical College campus provides a residential campus for faculty members, staff and students who live on campus.
- There are 2 hostels for undergraduate students, one for men and the other for women with a capacity of 350 students each.
- There is separate accommodation for resident doctors.
- The hostel has Mess & Canteen arrangement, Study room, Dining room, Visitors room, TV room and Indoor play facilities.

- Emergency services for basic specialties are available 365 days a year and 24 hours a day for all patients.
- The hospital is located in the capital of Uttar Gujarat and has a large campus of 60,000 square meters with an area of 16,619 square meters.

- The Campus is located at Vadnagar about 100 km from Ahmedabad and 70 km from Gandhinagar.
- The Medical College is about a 7 minute drive from Vadnagar on SH 56 which is 4 km distance from the college.
- Vadnagar Railway Station is located at a distance of 2 km from GMERS and is a 5 minute drive.
- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is located at a distance of 90 km from Vadnagar, within 1 hour 55 minutes of reaching the college.
