The Bharatpur Medical College came into effect in 2017 with the help of the Rajasthan Medical Education Association (Raj-MES). Dr. Ashok Kumar Kumawat, sr. Professor Physiology joined the Institute as First Principal and Controller on 25/01/2017. The institute meets the long-standing need of a medical college with modern health facilities in the Bharatpur section. The company will cater to the health needs of the large population of Bharatpur Division and the neighboring districts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
The Bharatpur Medical College complex is located on the Agra-Jaipur National Highway and its wings are located in the heart of the city of Bharatpur. The MBBS course is a four and a half year period followed by a one year compulsory rotating residential internship. The lasting 12-month internship includes short courses in community health, medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, child health, orthopedics, emergency medicine and various specialties. All these are according to the guidelines of the Medical Council of India. Admission to the MBBS program is based on the candidate marks obtained in the NEET-UG rank held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Bharatpur Medical College offers Undergraduate (UG) course of MBBS with annual intake capacity of 150 seats in graduation and filled as 15% seats by AIl India Quota and remaining seats of 85% by State Govt on the basis of inter-state merit of the applications on the basis of marks/percentile in the NEET which is conducted by NTA.
Admission Procedure and Eligibility
Eligibility: To get admission for above college shall be 17 years of age or above as on 31-Dec of the admission year is required. The maximum age limit to Study MBBS course @ SPMC is 25 years. All Higher Secondary School Students with 10+2 in science stream including biology or bio-technology along with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible(In case of SC/ST, 40% in board exams; 45% for OBC Category)
Admission Procedure: It is compulsory for medical enthusiasts to appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after 12th grade who wish to get MBBS admission. All the Government, Private, Central and Deemed Universities will be based on NEET scores and the seats for all colleges / institutions / universities will be offered through counselling based on the eligibility Score/Rank, Preferences of colleges and seats available.

Lecture theatres are 2nos with Gallery type and accomodate 120 capacities each with well equipped.
Bharatpur Medical College has Separate Hostel facilities for the students as UG boys have 76 rooms and for Girls 68 rooms. Post Graduate hostel available for both Boys & Girls are 48 rooms available. All the hostel rooms are clean, furnished and having adequate facilities. There is a separate canteen facility for Staff and Students available within a campus.
