• GITAM Medical College and Research is spread over 29.9 acres, this was Initially started with 360 beds and all basic specialties like General Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, ENT, Pulmonology, Psychiatry, Physiotherapy, etc.
• This Medical college has 2 Examination halls with 500 Sqm, each was able to accommodate 250 students.

GIMSR Medical Institute has 3 Lecture halls with a capacity of 180 students in each with all sorts of facilities with Audio and Video facilities, in hospital it has 1 Lecture theatres and with 200 seating capacity with all facilities.
This medical college laboratory and Museum provide the specimens which is immensely useful information for the students.
The labs are provided with adjacent demo rooms for students experiments.
These Labs are well equipped with stainless steel work stations and running water, electrical and gas connections.
Medical College gives the opportunity for the students to carry out experimental practicals in Histology, Histopathology, Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Experimental Pharmacology, and Clinical Pharmacy Labs.
This Medical College Central library is built with the are of 2449 Sqm.
This Library is fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of 150 students both inside and outside with 24 hours service.
It has a separate reading room for staff with a seating capacity of 34.
This library stores a rich collection of recent textbooks & references materials, it has 5065 books.
There are 42 Journals are available, that is 28 Indian Journals and 14 foreign journals are awaited.
In addition to this, the Digital Library for browsing through the internet and downloading the developments in the field of medical science is made available, this digital library with 40 computers for browsing.
This library has safe drinking water and Separate toilets for men and women and coffee machines are provided for the students’ utility.

• This Medical Institute has separate hostel facilities for male and female students, it has 250 rooms in each and with a capacity of 500 students accommodates.

GIMSR Hospital started with 360 beds, but now this teaching hospital has 410 beds.
They are distributed to 19 wards such as 100 beds for general medicine, 45 beds for pediatrics, 100 beds for general surgery, 60 beds for orthopedic and ophthalmology, 60 beds for obstetrics and gynecology, and 15 beds for ENT.
This Hospital has 9 Operation theatres, 7 major and 2 minor operation theatres with all equipment.
Intensive care departments as ICCU, ICU, SICU and NICU/PICU available each with 5 beds and all sort of latest facilities.
In this Hospital 241 nurses and paramedical staff are available.
