  • GSL Medical College Campus has spread on a sprawling 85 acres of land and buildings were built up in more than 1,00,000 sq mt area.
  • This medical college building was built up in an area of more than 22,500 Sq.mt with class rooms, separate departments, library and laboratories are housed in airy facilities.
  • Hostel and residential block and Hospital buildings are available in separately.
    There are three Examination halls available in the Medical College, These are built up in an area of 762 sq mt, 300 sq mt and 250 sq mt with a seating capacity of more than 750 students.
  • This medical college is built with five Lecture halls.
  • Four lecture halls with 240 students seating capacity in each and one lecture hall available with 500 students seating capacity.
  • One lecture theatre is available in a Hospital building with 450 students seating capacity.
  • These lecture theatres were built in gallery type with air-conditioned and needed facilities like Audio and Video are available.
  • Separated common rooms are available for boys and girls students.
  • Boys Common room has 250 seating capacity and girls Common room has 450 students seating capacity.
  • These common rooms are attached to the toilet and other facilities.
  • GSL Medical College’s Central library was built in an area of 3,675 sqm with completely air-conditioned.
  • This library works from 8.30 AM to 5 PM.
  • This has separate reading rooms inside and outside that provide seating capacity up to 250 students in each.
  • Staff and PG students reading rooms are available with 60 seating capacity in each.
  • Separate stack room and Staff room is also available.
  • This Central Library has 15,589 textbooks and 84 journals Indian and 61 foreign journals.
  • The digital reference area of this library has 30 computers with internet facilities.
  • The separate central photography section is available with staff and needed facilities.

  • Hostel and Residential block of GSL Medical College Institute of Medical were built more than 34,400 sq mt in inside the college campus.
  • Separate hostel and accommodation facilities are available for male and female students.
  • Boys Hostel has 132 rooms and providing accommodation facilities for 384 students.
  • Girls Hostel is available with 158 rooms and providing 424 accommodate facilities.
  • Separate Interns hostel available with 120 rooms and nurses hostels has 125 rooms and 400 accommodation facilities.
  • Separate PG Hostel is also available with 194 rooms.
  • The residential complex is available for teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • These hostels have a Hygienic canteen with a comfortable dining system.
  • Hostels are equipped with a well maintained and air-conditioned study room with computers and internet facilities.
  • Recreation room available with television, Music and Indoor Game Facility.This Medical college has spacious playground facilities for outdoor games like Volleyball, football, Tennis, Cricket, and Badminton and etc.

  • GSL Medical College General Hospital was built-in more than 44,100sq mt with OPD block.
  • Approximately more than 2500 outpatients are visiting here for treatment.
  • This teaching hospital has 1080 beds available and 75% beds are occupied for inpatients care.
  • This Hospital has a Separate Injection room, Dressing room, and plaster rooms are available for male and female patients.
  • These hospital beds are divided to the respective medical departments.
  • General medicine and General Surgery have 210 beds in each, Pediatrics, Orthopedic and Obstetrics and Gynaecology has 120 beds in each, TB & Respiratory Medicine, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and ENT department has 60 beds in each.
  • Psychiatry and Radiotherapy departments have 60 beds.
  • These Hospital Laboratories are under the control of the department of pathology approximately more than 800 tests are happening daily and Microbiology, Hematology, and Biochemistry sections are available.
  • This hospital has 21 operation theatres available as 17 operation theatres for Major operation and 4 available with minor operation facilities.
  • The intensive care unit is available with needed facilities.
  • ICCU has 13 beds, ICU has 6 beds, SICU with 14 beds, NICU and PICU have 18 beds.
  • Primary Health Centres : PHC-I  Mallampudi is located 14 km from the college, PHC-II  Rajanagaram is located 5 km from the college, PHC-III Rangampeta is located 10 km from the college.
