Infrastructure
- The Medical College has an exclusive library with 5065 collections covering all departments and 30 national and international journals.
- And it was built on an area of 2400 square meters and that can simultaneously accommodate 500 students.
- Inside 320 seating capacity and outside reading 150 seating capacity, 30 persons for staff and has 40 computers with internet access.
- The GIMS has four lecture halls each having a seating capacity of 180 students each and one with 200.
- GIMS also has 2 Examination halls which was built on over 3400 square meters and has 450 students capacity in each.

- Gulbarga Medical College has a separate hostels for boys and girls on campus with well-equipped rooms with all modern facilities, hygienic kitchen, nutritious meals, comfortable and a portable source of drinking water.
- The campus provides 256 rooms for UG students, 40 rooms for students and 40 rooms for Nurses and also providing Residential quarters for teaching and Non teaching staff.
- Other facilities for students like Outdoor games such as Cricket, Football, Ball Badminton, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Throw Ball, and Athletic, and Indoor games such as Table tennis, Carrom, Chess are available.

- It has 10 Major Operation Theatres that perform an average of 18 main operations and 2 Minor Operation Theatres with 6 smaller operations per day.
- There are 100 beds for general surgery, 45 beds for orthopedics, 15 beds for ENT, 15 beds for ophthalmology.
- 100 beds for General Medicine, Pre-operative cases included 4 beds, and post operative cases has 40 beds, 33 beds for intensive care department.
- RHTC I -Kamalapur Road located 35 km from the college and RHTC II-Mahagon located 15.6 km from the college.
- RHTC III-Harsoor Manekeshwari Road located 5.2 km from the college and UHTC – Manikaswami located 5 km from the college.
