• It was started in 2003-2004 by a small consortium of 30 NRI doctors from USA, all born and brought up in Guntur and Krishna districts of Andhra Pradesh.
• Based on the need to establish a modern specialty and general hospital to serve the people of this region, a team of NRIs established the NRI Academy of Science Medical College in Kakkani, between Guntur and Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

This Medical College has three Examination halls are available in an area of 1650 sq mt with a seating capacity of 250 students in each and available of CCTV facilities.
There are a total of Four Lecture halls available in the college building, four lecture halls with 240 students seating capacity.
One lecture theatre with 300 students seating capacity available in the hospital building.
These lecture halls were built in gallery type with air-conditioned and Audio and Video facilities available.
Separated common rooms are available for boys and girls students with a total area of 400 sq.mt and attached toilet facilities.
The Central library of this Medical College was built in an area of 3200 sqm with air-conditioned.
This library works from 8.30 AM to 10 PM.
This is houses a separate reading rooms inside and outside.
Inside reading room provides a seating capacity of 420 students and Outside reading room has 200 seating capacity.
