MBBS Course

The MBBS course is a four and a half year period followed by a one year compulsory rotating residential internship.The lasting 12-month internship includes short courses in community health, medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, child health, orthopedics, emergency medicine and various specialties. All these are according to the guidelines of the Medical Council of India. Admission to the MBBS program is based on the candidate marks obtained in the NEET-UG rank held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The Oxford Medical College Hospital and Research Centre offers MBBS -Under Graduate Course with total intake of 150 seats annually and the seats are allotted through 25% for State Govt Quota and 75% for Management/NRI Quota.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility

Eligibility: 17 years of age or above as on 31-Dec of the admission year. The maximum age limit to Study MBBS course is 25 years. All Higher Secondary School Students with 10+2 in science stream including biology or biotechnology along with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible(In case of SC/ST, 40% in board exams; 45% for OBC Category)

Admission Procedure: It is compulsory for medical enthusiasts to appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after 12th grade who wish to get MBBS admission. All the Government, Private, Central and Deemed Universities will be based on NEET scores and the seats for all colleges / institutions / universities will be offered through counselling based on the eligibility Score/Rank, Preferences of colleges and seats available.

And Remaining one Lecture Theatre for Hospital with 200 seating capacity and equipped with OHP, LCD, Microphone white and green boards. And also have a Examination hall / Auditorium in the College Building of 3rd Floor.


Oxford Medical College Hospital has both Pre and Para Clinical Departments each with well equipped Audio-Video Aids including OHP, LCD Projector, TV, Video and White Board. Every Clinical Departments have one Demo Room in each Clinical Out Patients and Wards Side Departments. The college has separate both boys and girls common rooms with adequate facilities. The College Central Research Laboratory functional to do Research projects of TOMCH&RC

The Oxford Medical College Casualty Departments works around 24 hours. Have a separate emergency section of OBG which is attached to the labour room. And its equipped with 15 beds Pulse Oxymeter, Disaster Trolley, Central Suction, Defibrillator, Ambu Bag, Oxygen Supply and Crash Carts. It is also connected to an emergency operation theater which is fully equipped with Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Surgical equipment’s. The Clinical laboratories and Radiology department are placed next to the casualty to serve emergency patients round the Clock. Casualty medical offices and Residents are available 24 hours 365 of all days. Consultants are available round the clock in the Hospital.


The Oxford Medical College Hospital and Research centre has large and spacious OPD to facilitate health care for all people. Departments like General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, OBG, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology, Pulmonary Medicine and Psychiatry have their OPD facilities as well. Clinical demonstration rooms are near to OPD. Diagnostic facilities are offered by the Central Diagnostic Laboratory having all the three department of pathology, Biochemistry and Microbiology. Diagnostic Laboratories play an major role in the diagnosis of disease before the start of treatment and also monitoring of patient once before the treatment has been initiated. All the Diagnostic Laboratories of this Hospital are prepared with high end equipment’s. These Diagnostic Laboratory contains Pathology Laboratory, Bio-Chemistry Laboratory and Microbiology Laboratory.

Blood Bank

The Oxford Medical College Blood Bank is a certified blood bank and established in the year 2013. This Blood Bank is registered with drug controller of India bearing registration number KTK/28C/259/2013 with state-of-art technologies and service. It ensures the critical provisioning of blood that are collected, typed and screened for HIV, HBsAg, HCV, Malaria and Syphilis; for both in-house and outside patients.
