  • Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (AMU) Library is popularly known as Faculty of Medicine Library and its one of the best medical libraries of India, which comes into existence in the year 1962.
  • The library is spread over in three floors with a rich collection of more than 55,000 books and bound journals in print form to pacify the needs of the users.
  • The Journals subscribes about 100 International & National in various specialities, and also maintained its archived collection of old journals (bounded volumes) in printed form at the ground floor of the new building.

  • Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Aligarh has a Hall of Residence is a cluster of hostels and administered by a Provost and a number of a teacher as wardens, which it’s located centres of corporate life in the University.
  • There are 19 Halls of Residence and one Non-Resident Students Centre (NRSC) out of 13 Halls for boys and 04 for Girls, and it’s truly representative of the country’s multi-religious, multi-racial and multi-lingual character.
  • Each Hall of Residence maintains a Common Room with facilities as a common Reading Room, Library, indoor games, Sports Clubs and a Literary and Cultural Society.
  • AMU sports and games activities are organized under the patronage of University Games Committee which it’s consist of 15 main clubs & sub-clubs.
